Chocolate Mousse with only two ingredients

The easiest Chocolate Mousse recipe ever!

I would like to show you how to make an easy and quick 2-ingredient chocolate mousse with my classic recipe. It’s really simple, delicious and takes only a few minutes.

Eat it on it’s own, with an ice cream or layer it in a cake…

Room temperature ingredients:

200gr good-quality dark chocolate

6 eggs
And that’s it!

Let’s go!

Step 1: Melt chocolate over a bain marie (water bath)

broke the chocolate into small and equal pieces and place it in a heat-proof bowl over a pan of gently simmering water. Make sure the bowl doesn’t touch the water and avoid any boiling to ensure the chocolate doesn’t overheat. Stir until you get the chocolate melted. Remove the bowl from heat and set aside to cool slightly.

  • Or melt chocolate in the microwave

Cut bar in squares and put the chocolate in a microwaveable bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until just melted.

Step 2: Add eggs

Whisk in the egg yolks until combined and set aside to cool.

Then whisk the egg whites until it reaches stiff peaks. Then fold the eggs whites gently into the chocolate mix.

Step 3: Set the chocolate mousse in the fridge for at least 4 hours

It keeps fresh in the fridge for 2-3 days.
